The old world charm of "Scottish Links" style course with eighteen championship holes of golf designed by professional golf architect Mike Morley, is masterfully nested along the winding Sauk River.

Lynx National features tall prairie grasses and wildflowers in the rough. The rolling hills and winds of mother nature further compliment the challenge of this old country golf experience. The marshy wetlands and water surrounding the course not only challenges golfers, but also attracts wildlife to this nature preserve.

Course Description

The par 72 course play 6,700 yards from blue tees or 5244 yards from red tees. Each hole has four bent grass tees. The focal point of the course is its massive bent grass greens that average nearly 8,000 square feet in size. Lynx National Golf Course has 53 sand bunkers on the course. Mid hole sand bunkers that run adjacent to fairway are stategically located for the golfers who attempt to take shortcuts.

The front nine are often referred to as "Prairie" and the back nine "Marsh"
